A timeline, end to end

Northwind’s year.

Twelve months of revenue, the five decisions behind it, and what the numbers did afterwards. This is the page you get.

Sample company, real product — every figure here was computed by Thonest.

1

The history you never had to write

Connecting takes about a minute. What comes back is every month Stripe can account for — $3.1K then, $10K now, across 12 months and 212 paying customers.

2

The decisions that explain the shape of it

A chart on its own says a company grew. It does not say why anyone did anything. These five sentences are the only part of the page Northwind’s founder actually typed — and each one arrives with the numbers from its own date already attached, plus what the business did in the months after.

Milestones you did not have to notice

You write none of these. Thonest reads your history and dates them for you — every all-time high, every threshold crossed, the month growth turned. You choose which ones appear on your page.

Then it goes wherever you do

Publish and you have a page to send to a customer, an investor, a hire or another founder. Or put it on your own site: paste this once and your verified history lives on your about page, updating itself as the business moves.

Light and dark both follow the visitor’s own setting. Nothing is public until you publish it.

You choose what appears

Every entry and every milestone has a hide control. A quarter you would rather not dwell on, a pivot you have not announced, a customer you cannot name — hide it and it comes straight off the public page. Hidden is not deleted: it stays in your dashboard and you can put it back at any time. What you cannot do is change a number, which is the reason the ones you do show are worth anything.

What “what happened next” gives you

Every decision arrives with the real numbers on either side of it — 30 days, 90 days, six months. Your reader sees the actual trajectory around the actual decision, in figures they can check. That is far more persuasive than a story about it.

What “verified” means

Verified by Stripe — revenue comes directly from a read-only connection to your account, counted the same way for every company. Here are the rules.

Recorded on Thonest — the history of each entry is preserved, so a later edit cannot silently rewrite what was originally added. Anything added after the fact says so on the page. You never type a figure yourself, and a measured number cannot be reworded by anyone.

Optional: call what happens next

Set a measurable goal and Thonest tracks it from your connected revenue. When the deadline arrives the result is written to your timeline either way — which is the entire point of saying it in advance.
